Nicole Spizzirri (Alumna 2008)

I had the incredible opportunity to attend Sommerhochschule the summer of 2008. I created some incredible friendships and happy to be in contact with many of them today.

I'll attach a few photo's because having to decide upon only one is so hard. I've attached two photos, that at first glace, do not look like anything special, but it shows a group of people who created a great bond and respect for one another. We would always have meals together and have "laugh fest" where we would talk about the day and just enjoy each others company. 

Since we left Sommerhochschule, we have all stayed in close contact and even reunited a few years later in Washington D.C. A few years after that, several of them were able to join me at my wedding in Chicago. 

Sommerhochschule helped me to create lasting friendships with two other wonderful American women, a Czech/Canadian man, and an "average Czech man".

I am eternally grateful for that.
