Office
The on-campus office of the Sommerhochschule is at students' service Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:30 pm. The Sommerhochschule staff is available for questions and support.
Located in the office is a basic library where students can select books and readers with the assistance of staff. All readers and copies needed for the courses will be provided by the Sommerhochschule without additional costs. Books, readers and texts for reading assignments will be available in the office free of charge.
Copying machines are provided on campus.
A study room is available for students to study alone or in groups.

Buerglstube at the summer campus
Common Rooms
The Bundesinstitut für Erwachsenenbildung (BIFEB), the host institution where the summer program is held, offers a variety of common rooms.
There is a study room for students to read, write papers, and study.
The Bürglstube and the Seehausstube can be used to meet, talk, discuss, have fun, or relax in the evening or on a rainy day.
The Bürglbar is open in mornings and evenings all week for students to get a coffee or meet und have fun. On the weekends pub quizes, parties, or other events can be organized.
The terraces in front of Bürglhaus and Seehaus are places to meet and have a coffee, sit in the sun, read or have a chat.
Computer & Internet

Computer & Internet
Students have free use of the computer facilities available on campus. All computers provide a wide range of software and have connected access to the internet, electronic mail and printing facilities.
It is recommended to bring one's own laptop for homework assignments and an USB-stick for data transfer. Wireless internet access is available for free on Campus.

Telephone calls can be made at the students' expense from the room phones. Students can also be reached via telephone in their rooms.
It is advisable to buy a prepaid card for the mobile phone offered by various companies. Depending on the company prepaid cards are available at: A1-stores, 3Shops, T-Mobile shops, mobile phone stores, Media Markt, Saturn, Hartlauer, post offices, newsagents, supermarkets and other stores.
Seehausstube
Students can receive letters and parcels under their name at the address of the summer campus of the Sommerhochschule during the period of the summer school.

Laundry
Laundry service will be available for € 20 per load. Drying rooms as well as irons will be provided for students.
Medical Treatment
Students must provide their own health insurance.
Strobl has one local general practitioner who can provide medical care in minor cases, for medical emergencies a nearby hospital is available. Depending on the health insurance appointments with the doctor or treatment at the hospital is either covered or has to be paid for by the students. Upon arrival at home students can retrieve the sum with the invoice from the doctor/hospital from their insurance companies.
